Electronic photo requirements
Special reminder for online exams from home: The system will perform facial recognition based on the photo you submit. If the photo does not meet the requirements, identity verification may fail, preventing you from accessing the exam system.
1. Photo Specifications
• A standard 2-inch ID photo of myself taken within the last 6 months, without a hat or any obstruction;
• The file format should be JPG or JPEG, and the size should be between 40KB and 200KB;
• The background must be pure white, without borders, shadows, or clutter.
2. Shooting Requirements
• When taking photos, face the camera directly, keep your head centered, have a natural expression, and ensure that your ears and eyebrows are fully visible and your facial features are clearly visible without any obstruction.
• Hats, headscarves, headbands, sunglasses, and other items that may impair facial recognition are not permitted.
• If possible, candidates are advised to remove their glasses for the photo to avoid the risk of identity verification failure due to reflections or obstructions. If glasses must be worn, ensure that both eyes and eyebrows are clearly visible, the frames do not obstruct the face, and the lenses are not reflective or dark.
• If it is necessary to wear a covering due to religious beliefs, the facial features should be clearly distinguishable.
3. Photo quality requirements
• Photos should be clear, properly exposed, and have natural colors. They should not be blurry, too dark, too bright, or have excessive contrast.
• The lighting on the face and background should be uniform, without shadows, reflections or color casts.
• No beauty filters, color corrections, or other treatments that alter a person’s true appearance are permitted.
• Screenshots, copies, scans, damaged, distorted, or stained photos are not allowed.
• Red-eye or other abnormal effects that affect recognition are not allowed.
4. Prohibited Items
• Uploading photos of daily life, landscapes, artistic photos, selfies or group photos, full-body photos, and images that do not match the person’s identity is strictly prohibited.
